Matt is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heslin Holdings, Inc. In addition, he is also the co-founder and managing partner of Oak Coast Properties.
He has led both companies in acquisition, development and disposition of over $3 billion retail real estate.
Prior to that, Matt served as an Officer and Corporate Vice President of Real Estate Development and Asset Management for Smart & Final.
Matt is heavily involved with many non-profit organizations, including Communities in Schools of Miami, Inc., Food for the Poor and Christian Foundation for Children and Aging. Matt earned his B.A. from San Diego University.
Matt is a parishioner at St. Killian Church where he is part of the Greeters Ministry and on the Finance Ministry. A believer that our faith is to be lived he also serves on the Real Estate Council for the Diocese of Orange.
Samantha joined Heslin Holdings in 2019 focusing on lead generation and marketing. In the last 2 years, she has become an expert at sourcing new acquisition opportunities while utilizing an advanced software system to locate prime real estate for her tenants.
Hobert spends sufficient time performing due diligence on each property she deems suitable for the tenants she works with. She works diligently and efficiently to ensure that every tenant, broker, and property owner receives feedback without delay. She is able to maintain strong relationships with many tenants, brokers, cities and counties across the country to guarantee each deal she works on is executed in a timely manner.
Prior to Samantha’s career at Heslin Holdings, she was a collegiate athlete and a three-year graduate from Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business. Hobert’s competitive nature and strong work ethic has transferred seamlessly into the workplace giving her much success in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
As Sr. VP of Acquisitions, Casey McKeon oversees acquisition opportunities throughout the U.S. with a focus on the Western region.
McKeon leads a team of experts in projects through the acquisition, leasing, entitlement, financing, permitting, construction and disposition phases.
McKeon has invaluable experience & strong relationships with retailers, landowners, brokers & city officials. He is intently focused to source and acquire value-add opportunities in each sector.
Casey graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Marshall School of Business. Fight on Forever.
As Acquisitions Manager, Tim McKeon oversees the prospecting and database management of potential properties, tenants, as well as new investors for the company.
Prior to Heslin Holdings, McKeon spent 3 years in the capital finance industry where he worked with C-level employees to tailor financing to fit their company needs.
He has extensive experience in documentation, underwriting, risk analysis, and transaction management. He prides himself on demonstrating professionalism and accountability in order to earn future business and develop long lasting relationships.
McKeon is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance & Entrepreneurship from the Marshall School of Business.
As Acquisitions Director, Devin focuses on sourcing new acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Heslin Holdings, Smith was a retail investment sales analyst where he would perform initial underwriting and analysis on single-tenant and net lease properties nationwide. In addition to underwriting, Smith’s experience also includes acquisitions, dispositions, and property management.
Smith graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.
John is the managing partner and Chief Investment Officer for Heslin Holdings, Inc.
He has significant experience in Acquisitions/Dispositions, Asset Management as well as Operations and Finance.
Prior to his time at Heslin Holdings, John served as principal at JSB Realty and oversaw ownership interests in retail investments in multiple states with a portfolio that included retail, office, & medical office properties.
John originally hails from New York where he received his B.S.E.E. with a concentration in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Real Estate Studies from New York University.
